Shake it up!
ENERGY PROTEIN SHAKE
Nothing better than a protein shake when you are on the run! Here is my favorite energy-go-getter for my morning meal or pre-workout sesh!
½ cup low fat cottage cheese (OR 0% greek yogurt)
½ cup vanilla almond milk
½ medium banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I recommend Magnum Quatro soft vanilla ice cream!)
2 tbsp chopped walnuts (9 unsalted roasted almonds to substitute)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg (I add less than ½ tsp)
